Monday Update

Over this last weekend: Friday I spent most of the day getting caught up on work tasks that had to be done from my computer at home. Some times I work from home instead of my office so those projects are all on my computer at home, plus they are usually projects that my lame work computer cannot do. Friday evening I went out with my wife and some friends and saw 'Where the Wild Things Are'. As mentioned in the previous post this was a great movie. Saturday I spent the morning sleeping in. Then that afternoon my wife and I decided to go to are favorite pumpkin patch even though we knew most of the pumpkins would be gone. We still got to walk around take pictures and buy some tasty good fresh cider along with other farm foods.

Saturday night was Halloween and I stayed home and watched some classic movies and ate candy. Sunday morning we lead the youth service and then went home to finish making lunch before our guest came over to watch the Packers vs Vikings game. Unfortunately the Vikings won. I am still not ready to talk about this. It is a very sensitive topic for me so I will move on. Sunday night was followed by relaxing and another movie. Over all it was a good weekend!

Todays Events: I always take Mondays off so that I don't get the case of the mondays. I spent the day cleaning and reading scripture and trying to memorize John 1: 1-14. I am not good at memorizing anything. Later I plan on going for a walk with my wife and then going to the bank and a couple of stores.

To-Do-List this week: Finish planning for Wednesday night. Work on getting organized more at work. Work on some mail outs. Start putting together materials for Winter Camp. Go to a coffee shop and get lots of reading done. Finish Advent Conspiracy tasks.

Current Procrastination: Memorizing John. Catching up on my John Piper book for my Thursday class. I love books but find this one boring.

Books that I am currently reading: The Forgotten God by Francis Chan, Reimagining Church by Viola, Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Chabon.

Music that I have enjoyed this week: The Swell Season-Strict Joy and Karen O-Where the Wild Things Are Soundtrack.

How do I feel about this week: Energized!

What class are you taking? Maybe I missed an update somewhere along the way.
For future reference, all John Piper books are boring.
