A few years back big corporate retail stores started down sizing their full time employee's in order to hire double the people to work part-time with less money and no benefits.
This trend has continued more and more as time pushes on. And unfortunately the Christian Churches of America are following and doing the exact same thing.
While this is not a rant about my position (since there is still only one of me) it is rather a rant about many churches and job openings and stories I have heard along the way.
Shouldn't churches set the standard in how it treats its people rather than trying to save a buck like corporate America? And I know not all churches have tons of money, but most churches also waste a lot of money on things not worth spending money on. But that is another rant for another time.
