top 10 books to read

I asked a fellow blogger to post his top 10 books, and not only did he end up posting his top 10, but another friend of mine posted as well. I don't think I have read enough to have a true top ten, you see I began reading when I was in college. Before that I truly considered reading for fun to be a waste of time. After being forced to read so much in college I began feeling empty whenever I was not reading. So by now I have read many many books, but still not enough, not enough of the classics, not enough of the essentials. These lists will hopefully lead me to many new books that I have yet to encounter.
