Tuesday Update - April 21

Tuesday Update, April 21, 2009

Over this last weekend: Friday was a day filled with fun. Christina (my wife) and our good friend Charlie took a trip up to Seattle and hung out at the EMP, Pike Place, and then off to a Seattle Mariners Game. It was great! Plus Seattle won that day and it was beautiful outside. We probably walked a good amount that day as well. Saturday I slept in a little bit and then watched some playoffs before I got off my lazy rear and ran some errands. Friday night was a birthday party for my bud Justin. Sunday morning was another beautiful day here in the northwest! After church I went out to coffee with my wife and then we went off to Jakes bistro for a birthday lunch get together with myself and some close friends & family. My birthday was last Wednesday, but it was the middle of the week and I had to run youth group so this worked out. We sat out on the outdoor deck and ate lunch while looking over the sound. It doesn't get any better than that! Yesterday I worked from home for a few hours then went out Kayaking.  Today is the last of sunny days for a while, but I am looking forward to this being more consistent.

Today's Events: Have a french press, clean some of the house, read, and then off to work and start planning for various youth events that I am running this week.

To-Do-List this week: Prepare students for Broomball Friday night, Run, Catch up on my inbox at work that is pretty full right now.

Current Procrastination: Exercising, eating right, and posting on this blog.

Books that I am currently reading: Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby, Orthodoxy by G.K. Chesterton, and 1776 by David McCullough.

Music that I have been into this week: New Amsterdams - Worse for the wear

How do I feel about this week: Excited!

-Cheers
