R.I.P.

Yesterday morning at 6:30 am I had to say farewell to my Grandfather.

I will always remember him as being a strong person who had a very hard work ethic but also knew how to have a good time. As I grew older he made me a huge priority and wanted to come out to all of my important events. Unfortunately as I grew older I became more busy. But I was able to pray with him and spend good time with him in the hospital before we moved him back home for his last 4 days with his family before he would go to be with God.

I don't know much about his early life, I have heard some stories, but of his later life I knew that he was a Christian, he loved his wife and the rest of his family, and he loved square dancing and listening to Johnny Cash.

This is the first family member that I have been close to that has passed. I wasn't as close to my other Grandfather when he passed. I think this is the closest I have seen death through somebody else, while it is sad, there is joy in knowing that he was going to be with God for eternity.

Thank you God for Salvation through your son.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Allow yourself some time to reflect on the memories and to miss him. No loss is ever easy.

Very sorry to hear about your loss. The Word says "Precious in His sight is the death of His godly ones." Glad that you see eternity in all this.
