Day 1 in Germany

Well I made it to Germany safe and sound. However, I heard that there were some bad situations going down in London flights going back to the U.S. Also, a friend of mine thought it was funny to send me a picture of a plane crashing. So that does not make me feel good about my trip back home.

Anyways.... We left around 8:30 a.m. (seattle time) after getting only 2.5 hours of sleep.

Our first plane took us to D.C. where I got only 1 more hour of sleep. (so far 3.5 hours of total sleep since Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.)

After we arrived at D.C. we rushed to our plane to Germany. Surprisingly the first plane was much better than the international plane. On the plane to Germany I got 2 more hours of sleep. Now since 9:00 a.m. Seattle time I have had a total of 4.5 hours to sleep. We arrived Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. (Frankfurt time).

Now... in order to get used to this new schedule in Frankfurt we were advised to stay up till 10:00p.m. Frankfurt time. So here I am Thursday night (Frankfurt time on 4.5 hours of sleep since Monday morning Seattle time.) It is now time to go to bed.

But before I do let me tell you we got to see a castle and downtown Hiedleburg (sp?)

Perhaps I will get pictures up soon!
